Lt. Gen (Dr) SK Gadeock

Lt. Gen (Dr) SK Gadeock, (Retd), is a former Commandant at Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington. He was nominated as Logistics Advisor to Botswana Defence Force, at Gaborone, Botswana in Africa, where he established their ‘Defence Logistics Command’. Currently, He is the Director General at Amity Institute of Defence & Strategic Studies, Vice President of Amity Science Technology & Innovation Foundation (ASTIF) and the Vice Chairman of Amity Institute of Defence Technology.

Dr. Gal Luft

Dr. Gal Luft is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi.  He is a CO-Director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, Washington, DC, & Senior Adviser to the United States Energy Security Council, a Cabinet level extra governmental advisory committee, USA. Dr. Luft is also working as a Professor at Ostim Technical University, Turkey.   He is author of Beer, Bacon and Bullets: Culture in Coalition Warfare from Gallipoli to Iraq. He appears frequently in the media and consults to various think tanks and news organizations worldwide. Dr. Luft testified before committees of the U.S. Congress, including Senate Foreign Relations, House International Relations, House Science and the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. He holds a doctorate in strategic studies from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University.

Prof. (Dr). Shalendra D. Sharma

Prof. (Dr). Shalendra D. Sharma is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. Prof. Sharma is Associate Vice President and Lee Sahu Kee Foundation Chair Professor of Political Science, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He has been a former Professor of Politics at the University of San Francisco, USA. Prof. Sharma is the author of: Global Financial Contagion: Building a Resilient World Economy after the Subprime Crisis (Cambridge University Press, 2013). Sharma was the recipient of USF’s University-wide Distinguished Teaching Award for 1996–97 and the University-wide Distinguished Research Award for 2002–03. He also consults for the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Ambassador Manju Seth, IFS (R)

Amb. Manju Seth (IFS), is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. She worked as an Ambassador and Consul General of India to Madagascar and Comoros. She has extensive experience in India and abroad in dealing with diverse issues relating to international relations, governance, policy matters, administration, publicity, media, protocol, culture, international affairs and economic & commercial matters. She frequently appears on various media outlets for a panel discussion on foreign policy and diplomacy related issues.

Smita Purushottam

Ambassador Smita Purushottam

India’s former Ambassador to Switzerland Smita Purushottam is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. Previously, she had served as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India from 2009-2010. Ambassador Purushottam served in India’s missions abroad as Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of India in Berlin, Minister (Political) at the High Commission of India, London, language-trainee cum information secretary at the Embassy of India, Moscow. She had also served as India’s Ambassador to Switzerland from 2015 to 2017.

Dr. Kirill A. Likhachev

Dr. Kirill A. Likhachev is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. Dr. Likhachev is working as an Associate Professor at School of International Relations, Saint Petersburg State University, Russia.  His research interests include foreign policy of India; India-Russia bilateral relations; National Interests and Security Policy of the South Asia’s countries; and the BRICS’ group.

Dr. Simant Shankar Bharti

Dr. Simant Shankar Bharti is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. Mr. Bharti is a Doctoral Candidate in Social Science at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, Warsaw Poland. He has presented papers in both national and international seminars. His focus is primarily on the analysis of European Union Policies towards South Asia and his research interest includes the international political economy, international development, development policy, foreign policy and aid, the role of developing countries in global politics and development economics.

Dr. Anmol Mukhia

Dr. Anmol Mukhia is a Distinguished Fellow (Honorary) at Forum for Global Studies, New Delhi. Dr. Mukhia is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science at Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim, India. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Higher School of Economics National Research University, Moscow, Russian Federation, and completed his PhD at Jilin University, China. He has worked at Sikkim University and Rashtriya Raksha University as an Assistant Professor. He is also a recipient of the “Bharat Nepali Gorkha Samman Award”, organised by Social Engineering, and felicitated by the honourable Governor of Sikkim. Dr. Mukhia’s publications are found in prominent journals: Contemporary South Asia, Politics, Groups, and Identities, Russia in Global Affairs, Natural Resources Forum, etc. He is also the author of “Chasing A Blazing Fire in the Himalayas” by White Falcon Publication.
