PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Data breaches have become an agonizing fact that none of us can avoid in the current digital era. It seems like everyone is vulnerable to the growing number of cyber threats, from the largest corporations to vital government organizations. Since so much of our private and sensitive data is shared and kept online, there are more risks than ever before, and the results might be disastrous.
In order to achieve goals such as “security” of the state and “maintenance of public order,” the Bill grants the central government the power to exempt government agency processing from some or all of the limitations. Under the aforementioned exclusions, a government agency may gather information about persons in order to compile a 360° profile for monitoring purposes based on national security. There are still several areas that require clarification, particularly for the general public, even with the increased awareness of data privacy. Knowing the extent and application of data privacy rules is one of the primary challenges. Many people don’t know their rights when it comes to the data that different organizations collect.
Join us for an engaging and informative workshop on Privacy in the Digital Age, where we unravel the complexities of online privacy and empower you to take control of your digital footprint.
