Dr Sandeep Tripathi is the Founder of the Forum for Global Studies, a Delhi-based think tank fostering global policy research and dialogues. His latest co-edited book titled “Technology, Energy, and Warfare and Evolving Geopolitics” is forthcoming (Routledge, Taylor and Francis Group 2025). An alumnus of Ewing Christian College, (University of Allahabad), Dr. Tripathi holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is empanelled as ‘Honorary Political Consultant’ at the Association of Mechanical Engineers of Kuzbass, Russia. He also serves on the International Advisory Board of the Journal of TAFFD’s, USA. During India’s G-20 Presidency, he served as the G-20 Ambassador for Uttar Pradesh, contributing significantly to India’s international engagements.

He has written extensively on India’s foreign policy, Russia, energy diplomacy, and the geopolitics of technology. His scholarly work has appeared in Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK, IOP Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, Russia, and the III International Conference “Digital International Relations,” Moscow State Institute of International Relations. As a thought leader, he has delivered keynote addresses at renowned global institutions, including the University of São Paulo, Brazil, Saint Petersburg State University, Russia, The University of Warsaw, IDSC, Philippines, Global Forum on Energy Security, China, and India Think Tank Forum, ORF, New Delhi. He is a regular foreign affairs commentator featured in leading media outlets, including DD News, India Today, Financial Express, The Economic Times, WION, PTI, News X, and others.
