Workshop Title:
India’s “Neighborhood First” Policy and the Doctrine of Strategic Autonomy in the Evolving Geopolitics
Objective:
• To understand the India’s “Neighborhood First” policy as a strategic initiative for strengthening its relations with its neighborhood countries.
• To explore how the Doctrine of Strategic Autonomy enables India to pursue independent and flexible foreign policies amidst in the Evolving Geopolitics.

Week 4 – Legal Dimensions of Modern Geopolitical Flashpoints [19thMay – 23th May]
Session Objective:
To explore how international law, treaties, sovereignty, and legal norms are tested and interpreted in current geopolitical conflicts
Session Outcome: Participants will develop a nuanced understanding of how legal interpretations shape the dynamics of contemporary geopolitics.
Session Format: Roundtable Dialogue, Panel Discussion and Debate on Maritime Law, International Law, Cyber Security Law
Week 5 to 8 [26th May – 30th June] Capstone Project & Policy Brief Writing
- Capstone Project- A comprehensive research paper on a selected topic.
Word Limit: 5,000–8,000 words - Policy Brief Writing- Participants will draft a policy brief aimed at decision-makers. Word Limit: 1,200–1,500 words
