Program Overview

Effective writing is a cornerstone of academic and professional success, playing a crucial role in shaping research contributions, advancing knowledge, and ensuring precision in technical documentation. This workshop aims to equip participants with the essential skills required for structured, impactful, and publication-ready writing. It will cover various forms of academic and technical writing, including research articles for journals and conferences, book chapters and books for academic publications, technical reports for documenting research and projects, case studies that present real-world scenarios and solutions, and research proposals for structuring and writing funding applications. Suitable for academicians, students, and professionals, the workshop will be conducted by experienced academicians and industry experts, ensuring a blend of theoretical insights and practical applications. By mastering these writing skills, participants will enhance their ability to publish, document, and communicate their work effectively in academic and professional domains.

Structure

This is a two-day workshop with a total commitment of approximately 3 hours per day. The participants will have to attend two sessions, scheduled on Thursday and Friday. Timing of Sessions: 12:30 PM to 03:30 PM.

This course is primarily open to:

  1. UG, PG and PhD Students – This workshop is imperative for master’s and doctoral students who seek to enhance their academic writing skills for research papers, theses, and dissertations.
  2. Researchers and Faculty Members: Researchers can improve their research proposals and publish in peer-reviewed journal.
  3. Academicians and Policy Analysts: It is useful for research-driven policy papers, white papers, and analytical reports.
